| How Your Body Works Your Spine - Your Core
Simply put, your spine is the core of your whole body. It's tied into every system, organ and part of you. It supports your weight, allows you to stand erect, flexes and twists to allow you to move in every conceivable way, houses and protects your nervous system, connecting every other part of you to your brain, and in the Eastern medical tradition is like a "super-highway" for your "chi" or life energy.

When your spine is healthy and strong, you are more flexible, you rest better, you work better, and you play better; in short, you feel better. But with the rigors of everyday life, as well as the aging process, not to mention the occasional traumatic injuries we all suffer, weakness & damage are often the norm these days. Many of these conditions are listed below:
Subluxation - Subluxation is a chiropractic term used to describe a "misalignment of the spine". Since the spine is made up of 24 vertebrae, a misalignment refers to any one of these vetebrae being out of place. Any number of factors can cause a subluxation to occur, including physical trauma, mental or emotional stress, overworked muscles, and more. Any misalignmentt of this type can cause pain, loss of flexibility, physical weakness, and often leads to other muscular problems and even nerve conditions such as "Sciatica". Eastern Medical experts believe that subluxations lead to the blockage of 'chi' or energy, which can lead to weakness in your immune system, and severe illness.
The Aging Process - As your body ages, your bones tend to become more brittle less sturdy, less able to absorb shock, muscles lose their elasticity, and you become more susceptible to weakness and disease. Your spine takes on all of these characteristics and as such needs vigilant care and attention to avoid long term damage and the resulting blockage of "chi". |

How Migun Works Migun Thermal Massage Systems represent the fusion of Asian and Western Medical techniques. Combining the effects of Acupressure, Acupuncture, Heat Therapy (moxibustion), Chiropractic, and Massage, Migun offers the only total health system for your body and your life.
Asian Medical Principles:
For many centuries, Asian Medical practices were a mystery in the west. This is because of the fundamental difference in the way Asian doctors look at and treat the body.
In Western Medicine, doctors often treat symptoms of distress as isolated incidents based on localized problems. A diseased organ or localized musculoskeletal pain is treated on the localized level, with little thought given to general health and balance in the body's systems.
In Asian Medicine, doctors see illness, pain, and other incapacity as signs of overall imbalance in the body, not simply one organ, muscle or limb. They look for weaknesses and blockages in "Chi" or energy. Chi flows along "Meridians", or pathways throughout the body, establishing balances of energy and maintaining the body's ability to function. When it is blocked or diverted, doctors seek to relieve the blockage as a means of creating a balance throughout the body and thus restore the body's own ability to heal itself. Asian medicine achieves this through the use of several techniques.
Acupressure Inspired - Hand and finger pressure applied to specific pressure-points temporarily block chi, restoring proper pathways and flushing out toxins that have built up during the imbalance. Migun uses the body's own weight to achieve this same effect.
Acupuncture Inspired - Migun uses a unique combination of helium gas bulbs and jade-massage heads to create infrared rays that stimulate Acupressure points 7 centimeters deep in tissues.
Heat-Therapy (Moxibustion) - The use of far infrared heat to stiumulate blood flow and tissue response, also encourages overall muscle relaxation, relieves pain, and releases pollutants trapped in the musculature.
Chiropractic Inspired - The simple principle that the body can heal itself when its systems are properly aligned and allowed to operate without impediment, signified by the health and proper alignment of the Spine as the core of the entire body.
Massage - The simple, ancient practice of muscle manipulation as a means of promoting proper blood-flow, muscle relaxation and flexibility. Massage is well known by all medical practitioners to ease chronic muscle pain, speed recovery from injuries, improve rest, and concentration, and promote a general sense of well-being.
The Migun Thermal Massage bed is the only product that combines all these techniques in ONE environment, combining effortless ease of use with these tried and proven techniques to provide you with total health, relaxation, and balance. |
